Fun with Pancakes

Shamrocks, Rainbows and More!

Rainbow cake and cupcakes have become very popular and with good reason, they are fun!  Kids and adults are amazed at the rainbow/tie-dye pattern that is created by adding a little bit of food coloring to cake batter.

We decided to try the same experiment with pancakes! Colorful pancakes are very simple to make and you can create just about anything with a little bit of imagination! My boys ate them as quick as I made them, I had to hide a few just for photos!

Got A Little One With BIG FEELINGS?

Sponsored

Ugh.  Some of the hardest issues we face as parents have everything to do with our kids learning to appropriately express their anger, instead of lashing out at us well-intentioned, hard-working parents (who NEVER have anger issues of our own, right???)

With a little inspiration from Pinterest, I came ...

Talk to your ...

The Power of a Good Cookie

Cookies for Kids’ Cancer supporters can double their impact this May

Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is a national non-profit that inspires individuals and businesses to “Be Good Cookies,” by hosting local events to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.

The organization was founded in 2008 by Larry and Gretchen Witt upon their son Liam’s diagnosis with cancer. They were shocked to learn that the primary reason pediatric cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the U.S. is due to lack of effective treatments – a result of under-funding.  Tragically, Liam lost his battle in 2011, but his ...
