Free family event. Come to join the Sikh Community of Yuba-Sutter in collaboration with the Yuba Sutter Arts Council for a special event in honor of the life of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism. Guru Nanak (April 15, 1469 - September 22, 1539) was the founder of Sikhism and the first of ten Sikh Gurus. His birth is celebrated worldwide as Guru Nanak Gurpurab on Kartik Pooranmashi, the full-moon day in the month of Katak, the eighth month of the Nanakshahi calendar.
