Halloween Events

Local programs, agencies, businesses, churches and other organizations have planned Halloween events and/or alternatives for children and adults to have fun in a healthy, safe, and fun environment. There are  many activities to choose from, so put on your costume and go out and find your family fun.

Janyo Frozen Yogurt/Yuba City JANYOWEEN – October 31

JanYoween is for children 10 and under; if they wear a costume they will receive a free 4 oz yogurt. Event hours: 10:00 AM – 10:00PM

NAMCO Cyberstation/Yuba Sutter Mall – No Trick All Treat – October 31

Come to NAMCO Cyberstation and play free video games; no purchase necessary. Games dispensing prizes or merchandise are excluded. Event hours: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Yuba County Library/Marysville - Trick or Treat Pumpkin Hunt – October 31 

Free event for children 0 -12. Children will look for paper pumpkins in the children section of the library, the paper pumpkins will have the following message: "Please Return Me to the Front Desk." Children can take up to three pumpkins to the front desk to exchange them for prizes. Event will take place from 12:00 PM – 5:45 PM.

Settlers Village/Wheatland - 2nd Annual SAFE Trick or TreatOctober 31

Free event open to all ages. Join the Wheatland Businesses and Community Leaders on celebrating a fun and safe trick or treat event; it will start at the south end of strip mall near the gym; children will trick or treat at store fronts and out of decorated trunks as well to participate in carnival games and other activities from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.


Yuba Sutter Mall – Yuba Sutter Mall Trick or Treat – October 31

Free event. Bring your children 0 -12 to enjoy a Safe & Sane Trick or Treat on Halloween from 5:00 pm -6:30 PM. Retailers participating in the event will hand out candy to children until candy runs out. 

Downtown Marysville – Scarysville – October 31 

Free event for all ages. Bring your family to Downtown Marysville from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM to enjoy family friendly activities such as kid’s games and crafts, face painting, hot dogs, live music, trick or treating at local businesses and trunk, and more. 

Calvary Chapel Yuba City - CCYC Harvest Fair 2019October 31

A free family event open to all ages, hosted by Calvary Chapel. Come and enjoy a fun evening with food, hay ride, dunk tank, bounce house, the "Lazarus House," games and many other activities for the whole family. Event hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Cornerstone Church of Yuba City – Trick or Treat at Cornerstone – October 31

A free, fun and safe event hosted by Cornerstone Church of Yuba City; enjoy the popcorn, the candies and the games. Stop at the free photo booth to take fun pictures. Stephen's Farmhouse, Rolling Stone Pizza, and the 4G Foundation will be at the event offering different dinner options; the proceeds are going to the Siller and Smith families who were involved in an accident last Wednesday. Event hours: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM


Collins Lake Trick or Treat Trail – October 31

Free event for all ages.  Come to celebrate the second annual Collins Lake Trick or Treat Trail. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings while trick or treating. Upon entering the campsite at Kiosk, you will receive a map with campsites marked for the trail. Be sure to park down Road 4. Event hours are from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

Foothill Lions of Loma Rica - Halloween Trick or Treat Street – October 31

Join the Foothill Lions Club in celebrating Halloween by decorating your car, pick-up, or pop-out for this event; or just bring your children ages 0 - 12 for a fun, free, and safe trick or treat from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. 

Victory Outreach Twin Cities/Marysville - Trunk or Treat – October 31

Bring your family to this free community event hosted by Victory Outreach Twin Cities; there will be candies, hayride, a jump house and other activities. Open to all ages. Event hours: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
